Partha Pratim Roy Chowdhury teaches English at Sammilani Mahavidyalaya, University of Calcutta. He is mostly interested in Critical Theory, Media Studies and Philosophical Posthumanism. He has presented his papers in some national and international conferences on Nabarun Bhattacharya, Arundhati Roy, Atin Bandyopadhyay, Planetary Futures and the Posthuman, among others. His maiden monograph deals with the writings of activist- author Mahasweta Devi.
